First Day of Summer, Solstice, June 21… Was always special. It is my Birthday. I do not make it a habit of sharing it the day of… I think partially it stems from how my family always didn’t have money around that time of year. Starting from when I was a child I almost felt as if miracles supposed to happen on the day you were born yet certain expectation failed to be met. I think this extended into being an adult, all the way till recently… But then I’ve decided to enjoy myself on that day whatever happens and not let anything bring me down. After all it was such a lovely sunshiney day! I got to hang out in one of my favorite neighborhoods and later visit my favorite restaurant.
I like that my Birthday falls on the first day of Summer! I also share it with Prince William the Duke of Cambridge. One of my grandmas also used to tell me that WWII has started on my Birthday. ( To be exact it’s 4 in the morning on June 22). I never took it as a negative description, I was always very interested in war history.

It’s been such a long time in the making and I am so happy and so proud of myself ! I’ll attempt to be more active but also re-post some older outfits and looks that I still like. 😉

This is how I wear color (If I ever do) on a black backdrop! 😀 I am absolutely in love how those flowers stand out! I am thinking I need more flower dresses now, also because this summer will be scorching!!!

You probably wouldn’t tell unless you have seen my Instagram stories that I watch(ed) the World Cup. Didn’t expect? I don’t look like your typical sport fan. 😀 I also mostly enjoy watching international matches. (Don’t talk to me about any other team sport, I simply can’t stand them!) There is something about that intense competition. But the thing is I support Germany… (And if you do too you can come ‘cry on my shoulder’) And somehow now it’s all so uninteresting… I’ll probably still watch quarters and finals however.
