The NUE TOPICAL- C Review: C+F Serum that stands out

Vitamin C serums are hugely popular today! In fact it’s one of the most frequently used ingredients in skincare. But there been another friend getting famous together with C it’s F -Ferulic Acid. It’s a very helpful friend, together C+F deliver more potent results! So let’s find out more about it and why this particular serum stands out from the rest!

What is it?

Topical – C is a powdered vitamin C supplement for your face. (In a powder form!) Proven to boost collagen, fight sun damage, pollution and stress. It dissolves + activates when mixed with your existing moisturizer or face serum. Applied daily, skin appears brighter, firmer with less visible fine lines + wrinkles.

Ingredients

Tapioca Starch, L-Ascorbic Acid, Ferulic Acid, Avena Sativa (Oat) Kernel Flour, Aloe Vera

Vitamin C and Ferulic Acid team

Vitamin C is a volatile ingredient. It’s hard to stabilize and maintain, which means most products toting its benefits aren’t nearly as effective as they claim to be. Somewhere between manufacturing and hitting shelves, the formulas lose their potency. Topical – C is different. We use a powdered form of vitamin c that doesn’t activate until you tell it to.

We mix l-ascorbic acid—aka pure vitamin c—with a plant-based antioxidant called ferulic acid. Both are proven to stimulate collagen production and fight sun damage. Then we add tapioca starch derived from the roots of cassava plants, colloidal oatmeal and aloe vera to exfoliate, soothe + heal the skin.*

How to use

It’s really simple to use too: Just dissolve 2-3 shakes in the palm of your hand with water or your favorite serum and apply it to your face, neck—and décolletage if you feel like it. With daily use, you can expect brighter skin + a visible reduction in fine lines, scarring, and pigmentation.

My thoughts

I’ve been using it for about three weeks. Tried mixing it with lotions, serums and water. I prefer water! And as with most skincare you have to use it for a good while. But after that I noticed the certain hormonal and sun spots starting to diminish. A good sign! Also – skin felt velvety from the first use and also awake!

Important – for my sensitive combination skin – zero irritation. Just a bit of tingle a first couple of uses.

Worth mentioning it also gives you a glow, a sun kissed look – though a bit too yellow in my case so a bit of a downside for me- my skin already has a yellow undertone.

Another thing, if you have oily skin you’re in major luck because this serum has incredible matifying efects! Thought depending on how your skin is (my combination one still has dry spots and also fine lines) you might still need mosituriser if you’d like to wear make up.

A big plus, it’s considerably cheaper than the popular on the market C+F serums. And with powder form- it lasts incredibly long! The brand also offers the subscription option and you can get it even cheaper!

Overall I was pleasantly surprised and I’ll keep it in my collection for when my skin needs extra help from all the enviromental stress living in a large city.
